Demetris is a Consultant, Coach, Trainer, and Speaker, working globally with professionals & teams of all backgrounds.
Professional Background
Demetris considers himself fortunate, being an American and having lived and worked in Asia and now Europe, gaining a variety of business and social experiences along the way. He has over 15 years of professional experience in the technology industry as a Sales Consultant, Technical Director, Business Development, and Trainer. In these roles, he has worked with internal and external clients, developing business and technical strategies that have helped advance organizational goals. Additionally, Demetris has been a guest speaker and presenter at numerous technology industry events.
One of many things that fascinated him about the corporate world is the degree mental and emotional influences of executive leadership affect the overall performance of an organization. This is typically depicted in how key contributors and teams respond to their leaders. Over time, and having collected numerous experiences, his interest in the “mind” aspects of leadership and team dynamics has grown.
Combining his previous business experience, Coaching and NLP skills, and interest in Neuroscience, Demetris created Congruent Minds, a Professional Skills and Leadership Development Company, and serves as the Managing Director of Collaborative Coaching and Facilitation Programs. He works with entrepreneurs, organizational executives/managers, and their teams to enhance their overall congruency. He has worked with clients in over 15 different countries and has facilitated workshops in the USA & Europe.
He currently resides in Zurich, Switzerland and this serves as the current home of Congruent Minds.
Education Background
Demetris is a graduate of The University of the State of New York (B.Sc.) & Hawaii Pacific University (M.Sc.). He is Certified NLP Practitioner, Certified Training Facilitator, and a Certified Professional Coach via both the International Coach Academy (ICA) and the International Coach Federation (ICF), where he is an active member on several committees. He is, additionally, a member of the NeuroLeadership Institute, and a member of Toastmasters International in Zurich, serving on its leadership committee for 2010/2011.
